I cover a lot of corporate events for my clients and I'm always told how well received the photos are. They are used on social media and shared with the guests who in turn use them in a similar way, so every one is a winner. One of my oldest clients, BPE Solicitors in Cheltenham booked me for a great Drivers Day at Prescott Hill Climb. As always I delivered the pictures on a password protected page on my website from where BPE and their guests could download the pictures, I'm told that all the guests were thrilled with the pictures.
Perfect studio space
I'm very spoilt this morning with this wonderful city office block floor all to myself for corporate portraits.
Airline Pilot practice used to help doctors and nurses
Junior staff within the airline industry are encouraged to speak up to more senior staff, including the captain, if they believe they have made a mistake.
I photographed Critical Care staff at Gloucesters Royal Hospital who are using similar practices with their simulator training to help train their medical staff.
It is hoped the training will mean doctors and nurses do not fear speaking up against those in authority.
School Prospectus Photography
When I work at a school I am very careful to not disrupt the lessons, I've found that it works best to take candid pictures and catch the atmosphere of your school.
Making business portraits fun
One of the nice things about being very experienced in your job is that you're relaxed and not stressed. I've been a photographer for over 25 years now so when I am photographing somebody I am completely at ease and this makes my subject feel at ease too. This is an important part of my skill set that has just crept up on me over the years and now I'm often told that it's a real selling point, especially in the world of corporate photography where my client hasn't got an hour to get to know me.

Make a statement without saying a word.
New video venture for me.
For some time I have been toying with the idea of making short films about my clients. I tried my first one yesterday at my friends hardware shop in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Sam and Jamie are very pleased with it so I'm keen to get opinions from others. Is this something that small businesses would be interested in buying and if so what sort of price would you expect to pay?
Product Photography
Tricky job? No problem.
Sometimes my job can be quite difficult, here's a good example. I was working at General Electric Aviation last week and because of the nature of their business, almost everything was classified and of course couldn't be photographed. But luckily I've been doing this long enough to not give up and leave with just a mugshot. I spotted this glass display in the reception area and with a few off camera flashes I managed to make it look interesting and high tech, just what the client was looking for.
